As you drive up the
road to our 1830's farmhouse you will realize our shop at Still Run
is not your typical
place to find country furnishings. The shop at Still Run is in a
charming
1800's
building, once part of a sash and blind mill located on a nearby
stream. It was relocated
to its present site
in the early 1930's and used as a weavery. The name "Still Run"
was given
to our road by the town of Peacham to honor the many stills that once
operated in the area.
Peacham soil produced large potatoes which were made into whisky and
sold in the Boston
market before Prohibition.
"We look forward to helping you
acquire that New England country atmosphere you are looking for".
Open
Memorial Day Weekend thru October
Friday, Saturday and Sunday
10am - 5pm or by appt.
